What We Don’t See is a conceptual and creative photography project based on the topic of gender violence. Inside this project, Carmen not only show in a creative way how a woman is suffering and dealing with domestic violence every day. She also wanted to make people concerned about the signs and life of the woman who cannot escape or talk about it. Creating and realising all this project has also showed to her than every topic can be capture in pictures, no matter how complicated it may be.
